A new, sustainable headquarters for the 105th High Green Scouts, replacing an outdated building with a flexible, energy efficient facility that supports both scouting activities and wider community use. A fabric first approach, high performance envelope, air source heat pump, and solar panels enable the building to generate more energy than it consumes that is net zero in operation. reducing costs and environmental impact.
The design provides adaptable spaces for growing membership, shared use, and inclusive programmes.
Durable, low carbon materials ensure longevity, while collaborative design ensured the building meets local needs, creating a resilient, strong community focused hub for future generations.
