A big thank you to David Riley who came along to Race Cottam to host a fantastic model making workshop for our staff.
Architectural models are a great tool for expressing a buildings design. David took our staff through the early stages of building a model from the initial planning work, to creating small details from plastic card and finally crafting larger structures from foam.
Models such as these help our clients envisage the design and are an effective communication tool between the architect and client, or perhaps even the general public. They allow non-experts to visualise the proposed building and provide feedback.
